Midshipman (foaled March 26, 2006 in Kentucky) is an American Thoroughbred racehorse.

Owned by the Darley Stable, Midshipman is trained by Bob Baffert. Ridden by Garrett Gomez, he won the 2008 Breeders' Cup Juvenile at Santa Anita Park.

Midshipman won the Eclipse Award as American Champion Two-Year-Old Colt for 2008.

He has been purchased by Godolphin and is a contender for Kentucky Derby 135.
