Eleven Eclipse Award winners were honored for 2007 at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons on Jan. 21, and Bob Baffert trainees walked away with two of the coveted trophies.

Indian Blessing, 3 1/2-length runaway winner of the $2 million Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) at Monmouth Park last October, was named Champion 2-year-old filly after an undefeated juvenile campaign that included a pair of Grade 1 wins from just three starts.

Midnight Lute, whose brilliant come-from-behind 4 3/4-length victory in the $2 million Breeders' Cup Sprint (G1) was one of the most impressive victories of the afternoon, was named Champion Male Sprinter.

Garrett Gomez rode both Indian Blessing and Midnight Lute, which helped propel him to capture the
Eclipse Award as Champion Jockey.
